Hi All
I have bought a mare who was foal recorded APSB. The person I bought her from got the AMPS papers but didn't bother with the APSB ones. I have no idea where the breeder is and doubt she is now a member. Is there anyway this mare can be upgraded (APSB the AMPS ones are done) to adult status and transferred into my name? Thanks
Wendy

Hi Wendy,
It dose not matter that they are not a member to transfer a pony but you need to be. you do need the last current owner that is recoded with the APSB to sign the back of the papers to transfer her,
Then pay the transfer fee and then at the same time you can up date her to a mare if she is over 5 years + it will be $110 if she is 4 -5 years it is $55 and if she is 0 - 4years it is $28.
If they or you do not have the papers any more the current owner has to request a duplicate copy and pay the fee of $22.00 then you need to do the above , then they do need to be a member to be able to request this.
This is the only way you can transfer ownership then be able upgrade of any pony within the APSB.
Only the current recoded owner with the APSB can upgrade any pony with in the APSB
You can also click on link below for all information regarding this and lots of other info about the APSB and registration's and paperwork in this Information booklet.
http://www.apsb.asn.au/brochures/Information%20Booklet%202008.pdf
Sorry you will have to track them down you could ring the APSB to find out if they are a member or not still then they maybe able to contact them on your behalf Phone registrar on 07 3216 2509 or email registar@apsb.asn.au
Or maybe they are still members of AMPS or another society and they may be able to help you track them down.
Hope this helps,
Leanne. |
